History of lithographs begins with the fifteenth century. Everyone know engravings by Albrecht Duerer of the fifteenth century, etchings by Rembrandt of the seventeenth century. The history of lithograph began in the eighteenth century and all painters of that time willingly used new art technique. You can see confirmation for it in museums of all over the world.

Inokhenthij has studied experience of many old masters and has created own technics of lithograph.

He also considers his teachers as Russian classic - Vasily Kandinski as American founder of pop-art - Andy Warhol. The color and its value were the main components of art for both these masters. He has learned to feel color at these masters, therefore lithographs by Inokhenthij are such bright and vital.

Also artist continues Russian tradition of 19 centuries - creations of the big lithographic series which had huge popularity in the middle of 19 centuries in Russia.

In our century of speeds the view through a window of your car when all merges into one big color stain, became habitual picture for you. The rhythm of a life - fast and unruly, defines our consciousness already for a long time. But this is our life, we live and we love it.

This attitude has inspired the artist Innokentij Levitin on creation of his unusual lithographs. Bright expressionistic lithographs by the artist colourfully and romantically tell about the modern life. The artist keep balance between figurative metaphoricalness and abstract expressionism. Criticism marks in the original manner of the artist masterly use of several colors levels simultaneously.

Levitin Inokhenthij has created the original style of the lithographs. It is successfully picked up mix of some lithographic techniques: oil pastel, lithographic pencil and original stone brushes in various combinations. For example, the artist manually produces original stone brushes which give that unique style to his paintings. However, first time the mention of use of similar techniques for paint of walls can be found in treatises of sixth centuries. Levitin Inokhenthij has studied and has developed this technology.

The artist draws by the stone brushes a various impression, creating illusion of movement, as if you look at this painting through drops of a rain on a windshield of your car.

These art manners enrich each other and give to the artist the possibility to show his creative individuality.
